Launching Fall 2026

Local movers in Charlotte, NC

Most of a local move is decided before the truck ever shows up. Parking, stairs, elevator windows and how much is already packed set the shape of the whole day.

Charlotte — Coming Fall 2026

We're booking quotes and move dates now, and hiring the first Charlotte crew. Everyone on the priority list hears from us before the schedule opens.

What this job is like here

The Charlotte metro spreads out. Ballantyne to NoDa is thirty minutes of I-77 on a good day and a lot more on a bad one, so we build the arrival window around traffic instead of mileage. New-build neighborhoods in Huntersville and Concord have their own quirk: wide doors, long carries from the street.

Worth knowing: Summer moves start early. Loading a truck in July here is a different job at 7 AM than it is at 2 PM, and we schedule accordingly.

  • You're moving within the metro and want it done in one day
  • You've got heavy or awkward pieces and a tight staircase
  • You'd rather hire a crew than ask friends to give up a Saturday

Questions

Local Moving FAQ

Two to four weeks is comfortable. End of month, the first weekend of the month and the last weekend in August fill up first. Short notice is still worth a call, because cancellations happen.

Saturday mornings are standard and Sunday we're closed. A weekday move usually gets you a better window and more time on the clock.

Anything flammable, corrosive or under pressure: propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner, ammunition. Plants and open liquids are a bad idea too. Everything else, just ask.
